Beads in a Vase
Today I have an idea for you, which is a bit of an uptake on the button jar.
I’ve got a bunch of beads that really needed a place to live. It would be a shame to hide them away because they’re so tactile and beautiful in their shapes and colours. I arranged them in a glass vase, and now display them in the guest room, giving a nice splash of colour to the area. Any type of glass vase or jar would work, as would replacing the beads with bangles.
Group the Frames
Hi everyone, I hope that you had a fantastic weekend! We’ve been really lucky with the winter weather the last few days here in Auckland. It’s continuing, so I’m making the most of it and I’m writing to you from my garden while I soak up the sunshine!
LEMON & ROSEMARY CAKE
One of my oldest and dearest friends, Leanne, always gives the best gifts; you know ones that always get it right? One of the (many) gifts that she’s given me over the years is this wonderful cookbook called, “Crazy Water Pickled Lemons” by Diana Henry.
Oh what a Fine Little Day…
I follow a lovely Swedish blog by Elisabeth Dunker called Fine Little Day. The style of the blog is so unique and refreshing that it makes me smile. Behind the blog is an online shop, or should I say, collection of beautifully designed homewares, ceramics and textiles, either designed, or carefully chosen by Elisabeth.
One Desk, Three Different Lamps
Hi everyone, I hope that you had a great weekend! I had a pretty lazy one other than a little clothes shopping on Saturday, which is always enjoyable, and yesterday found me setting up desk; which is what I will write about today.
