Dear friends,

Before I sign off for a couple of weeks, I wanted to thank you all so much for your support this past year. Thanks to all of the comments, the tweets, the retweets, the facebooking, instagraming, the pinning and most of all, for being here to read my little take on both the beautiful and the delicious. If you love a bit of DIY then you’re going to love Mette from Monsters Circus! Since discovering her blog a little over six months ago, I’m in constant awe of the stunning and very simple DIY creations that Mette comes up with. They’re always in trend, usually with that pared back Danish look and all are esthetically beautiful images that are very pin worthy. How was your weekend? I hope it was how it should be this time of year, crazy busy but fun! Today is a pretty special day for me because I’m celebrating my 13-year wedding anniversary with Guillaume. We haven’t got anything planned immediately as it kind of crept up on us this year but we do have one bottle of fine French champagne chilling in the fridge.

Let me introduce you to Sarah; a Kiwi who writes a brilliant food blog, From The Kitchen. It’s a fairly recent discovery that I was so happy when I did. You know the ones, every image pin worthy, and loads of delicious and mostly uncomplicated looking recipes. Sarah’s day job is that of a recipe developer, food stylist and photographer so you can imagine what her readers are in for. Coupled with that is a friendly writing voice that you can’t help smile while reading – you’ll get an idea about what I mean with her answers below.
