A bit of craziness around me today as I just got back from my trip to Sydney this weekend, my husband, Europe just a few hours ago, and we’re celebrating my eldest boy’s 5th birthday today!

I love the unexpected discoveries of flea markets, rummaging through junk to find your treasures – the only thing you need is a few dollars and a little time… I think that it’s these little finds collected over the years, that adds substance to a home.
Surry Hills Market, Sydney – Part 1
I really do love a good flea market and the Surry Hills Market is one of my favourite little haunts and was once a monthly ritual for me. I’d walk there from our terrace house via Bourke Street Bakery for a take away coffee and pan au chocolat and spend my Saturday morning wandering around, soaking up the atmosphere, finding treasures and of course, people watching. It felt great to be back there this weekend.
