Welcome to a new regular feature! I like the idea of asking people whom I admire and who inspire me, five quick questions about home and decoration – simple and fun!
With absolute pleasure, the very lovely and talented Jeanette Lunde is the first to answer my questions. Jeanette is creator of the blog, By Fryd; a beautiful reflection of her life and design. Her sense of style is exquisite and I’m in constant awe of her photography and styling. Along with her blog, Jeanette publishes her own e-zine, is a teacher for Decor8’s BWY Boot Camp and is also the winner of Elle Decoration Norway’s Interior Talent of the Year 2012.
Over to you Jeanette….
What does home mean to you?
Peace, family and love. I think I could almost live everywhere as long as I have my loved ones with me.
Where do you find inspiration?
It would have been easier if you asked where not. S M I L E.
But I find that the good ideas and when I get most inspired, is when I have some space and time to digest all the impressions.
Do you have a favourite piece of all time?
If it’s a piece I have in my home, it must be my Mademoiselle chairs designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara.
How would you separate an average room to something “magical”?
Gold is always a good idea as long as it’s done tasty. I LOVE gold with white and pink/purple colors.
Design…?
Makes me happy. Makes the difference. Is worth it.
Thanks so much for stopping by Jeanette!
