Hi Everyone, Just a quick one today as I’m running around from one event to another at the moment. Most of it is school and kindergarten related though, nothing glamorous!
Here’s an idea that I pinched from Fabric, a gorgeous boutique in Auckland. They use a milk bottle to hold bracelets and bangles. I thought it was rather ingenious and I’ve certainly got my share of vintage milk bottles so thought I’d try it. Do you have any clever ways to store or display jewellery? See you Friday!
Hi Mel !
A good one for earings (seen at my sister’s in law): use an old crochet-hook hand-made curtain pinned to the wall… Look very good and is very practical !

Hey Mathilde! That sounds so cool, I’d love to see it:) x M
Oh sweet idea! I wish I did Mel, but my jewellry (not much, despite the fact that I love it) is strewn all over the place!! Have a good rest of the week-school plays and parties for us too :-)) xx
You too Caroline x
I agree, great idea. Did they have any good ideas for necklaces? A few years ago I bought my girls a perspex jewellery holder that goes on the wall and holds everything but can’t remember what online store we bought it from.
Good luck getting through your school/kinder events. That has died down for us now (only one left at school Yr 9 next year) but I remember how hectic it used to be.
You’ll have to treat yourself to a Bellini when it all settles down. By the way you can come for Christmas lunch and a Bellini!!! :) x
Thanks Catherine, your house for Christmas sounds fab, I’ll hop on a plane;)
This is such a great idea Mel, I love love glass bottles. I recent;y saw a picture of paper strawers being used to neatly organize necklaces, so they don’t get tangled. I thought it was brilliant!
Wow, I’d love to see it Dani, I’m trying to visualise it.
