Maisy & Grace

Do you ever walk into a store and immediately feel the feel warmth, like you’re truly welcome there? And it’s not because you’re going to purchase something, it’s simply for a good old chat. You wander around the store and pick something up and the owner will tell you the story that goes with it. It’s lovely to visit. Maisy & Grace has achieved that, only I’ve never stepped foot into a physical store, it’s the online shop I’m talking about.

Self confessed lover of all things beautiful, handmade and vintage, Christall curates a charming selection of homewares old and new. If you haven’t paid a visit, I’ll give you a little taste of what you’ll find there with some of my favourites in no particular order:

* I couldn’t make my mind up which cushion I preferred; the cute crocheted mustard yellow cushion, handcrafted in India or the hand made, cross stitched cross on linen by the very own Christall Lowe. Both equally gorgeous.

* We’re eating salad almost every day at the moment so can always do with a variety of servers and this pair of Acacia wood Oriental Salad Servers are lovely.

* I like to dress my kitchen with colour and the burst of citrus on this natural Egyptian cotton teatowel would do the trick beautifully.

* A little wire basket to store bits and bobs in my armoire is just the kind of thing I’m after and they come in three different sizes.

* I adore vintage jars and bottles on their own as decoration or to display flowers. I have a large amber jar like this in my open kitchen shelves; it looks great, so naturally this would be my choice.

* I’m struggling whether to keep my potatoes in the fridge or cupboard during the summer months so this natural hessian potato preserving sack could be a stylish solution.

* Okay, so I’m a sucker for bottles and couldn’t resist adding another and these imperial half pint milk bottles embossed with the dairy’s name or information are so sweet.

As I write this, Christall is unpacking and photographing new additions to her collection and I can’t wait to see what she has for us. You can keep up to date with happenings by being a fan of her impressive Facebook page.

Have a great weekend everyone and see you back here on Monday.
