We’re about to wave bon voyage to winter as it makes its way over to our friends in the northern hemisphere and I tell you, couldn’t be more ready (sorry friends)! I really am a spring and summer person and I crave the feeling the sun on my skin and spending more time outdoors… What about you? Do you have a favourite season?
I didn’t do a Blogosphere Love post last month while I was in Sydney so I thought I’d combine the two here. I’ve narrowed it down to four articles that really stood out for me.
Paige Porter Fischer has a fabulous website called Story Porter, (great name huh!) where she interviews and tells the story of inspiring people. Okay, it’s not really a blog but I thought I could slip it in here because it’s such a discovery and what led me to this site, was an interview with one of my favourite bloggers, Victoria Smith of SF Girl By Bay. It was so interesting reading about the early days of her blog, the people in the industry that helped her, and when it all started to take off!

Who doesn’t love Lucy from The Design Files? If you’re in for more inspiration, Julia Atkinson From Studio Home pretty much dishes out the story of The Design Files to date. There’s enough information jam packed into that post to encourage anyone to take control and follow their dreams, not to mention, admire Lucy more – if that could be possible!

Which brings me to this next article. After reading the interview with Victoria and the story on Lucy, I couldn’t help but believe that this post, that I bookmarked back in the beginning of July was almost serendipitous. Melanie Biehle from Inward Facing Girl wrote an article about defining what success means to you. It’s a simple idea, but they’re always the best aren’t they? She will get you thinking, or should I say writing…

Mette from Monsters Circus did a fantastic round up of Denmark’s design and interiors tradeshow, Formland Upgraded. Really worth having a read to get a preview of what’s coming out of the design mecca of the world.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Ha! I’m one of those poor people up in the Northern Hemisphere anticipating the onset of autumn and winter… as gorgeous as this summer has been in London I do love autumn. Leaves changing colours and wrapping up warm are just a couple of my highlights!
Think of me while you’re living it up in dresses, sandals and sunglasses!
Hi Maryam! Oh yes, sorry about that. I agree though, Autumn is beautiful and a lovely way to end summer but for me, nothing beats the arrival of spring!
