I’m really pleased to announce that I’ve been asked to teach a class on blogging for the General Knowledge series at General Trading Co.
I thought long and hard about what angle to teach and remembered when I first started blogging and how overwhelmed I felt with everything that I should or shouldn’t be doing along what tools were available to use.
With that in mind, I thought the best would be to stick with the basics because if a blogger gets that right, you’ve got a great base to work with to grow. It’s also something that I know like the back of my hand.
Funny enough I’ve recently found myself giving advice on a number of occasions about the ins and outs of blogging in the early days and each time I gave this information I felt so passionate about imparting this knowledge that I know this course is meant to be!
So if you can make it to Auckland, are new to blogging, are about to start a blog or would like to revisit the basics to improve your current blog, then this course will be a perfect for you. Or perhaps you know someone who could benefit from this?
Create a brand; learn the steps to a professional looking blog with original content that people will notice.
You will walk away with tips to create your own beautiful images with a smartphone, networking, how to increase loyal readership, join a community, organisation and much more.
You will leave with loads of knowledge and comprehensive notes to refer back to. There will also be the option to meet up with fellow class friends and me at a later date to exchange your blogging experiences and to support each other.
I’m having so much fun putting the notes and content together and I’m still working on it so if you wish to take the course and there is anything specific you’d like for me to cover, I’d love to hear from you. Email me at mel@melchesneau.com
The course will run for approximately 90 minutes with two dates to choose from Thursday 24th July at 7pm or Saturday 26th July at 1:30pm. For more details and to book your place, visit The General Trading Co. website’s General Knowledge Page.
While you’re there, take a look at the other fantastic courses on offer.
I really hope to meet you!
Mel xx
Hi there,
Is there an option to purchase your presentation and notes so to speak? Or will you be doing something similar again in the future? Sorry to have missed this!
Regards,
Amy
