I made a bit of a speedy visit the Auckland Fair on Sunday. We had two out of our three children with us, and because the youngest missed her midday nap; it was without a doubt a little challenging. So I did what any blogger would do, I raced through and filled my bag with cards of everything caught my attention.
I’m having a lot of fun going through all of their sites now and I’ll showcase a few of the makers and products on the blog in the coming weeks. First up are these gorgeous dream catchers by Luzette Godinez of Luu Studio. Stunning aren’t they? Dream catchers have really made a big comeback in interiors of late so these are sure to be a big hit.
Luzette sells these online and ships internationally. She also makes them to order to your own colour preferences. I love what she has created here, they’re quite striking and while they would look amazing pretty much anywhere, they look best where they are intended to, swinging above your bedhead and alone for that perfect statement.
In Native American tradition, they are to be placed above the bed to catch the dreams that pass through the air while you sleep. The good dreams know how to get out and they slip through and down the feathers, while the bad dreams get caught up in the catcher and perish with the first light of day.
I think we all need one of those!
