Tuesday morning saw the media launch of Citta Design’s 2015 Winter Collection, Deco Deco, inspired by the city of Paris. It took me a moment to take in the jaw-dropping venue of Silo 6, which set the scene for the stunning new collection.
Putting aside my obvious affection for everything French, this collection truly encapsulates the style of the capital at that time of the “perpetual springtime”. It was the nineteen twenties and everyone wanted to be in Paris. Here is a sneak peek of the new range.
Furniture designer, David Moreland has recently joined Citta Design to create an edit of furniture and lighting. I love the clean lines and form of the contemporary pieces. My favourite is without a doubt, the Radial Shelving that comes in a range of different sizes with brass details and the option to add another shelf. He has also created some interesting multifaceted pieces like the Lean-To Rounded or Squared Bedhead that could also be used as a hanging rack or a prop for a moodboard.
While fashion is not my focus here on the blog, I need to mention fashion designer, Julia Fong’s impressive entry to Citta. She has created an effortlessly chic collection of everyday wear using natural and luxurious materials.
The range of art deco inspired textiles include dusty warm hues, tribal, monochrome and a riot of patterns. I’m particularly drawn to this very cool cushion combo below.
The new winter collection will begin to hit the stores and online from Monday.
Have a great weekend everyone!

P.S. At the end of next week I’ll be sending out my first newsletter with some sneak peeks of the new look blog. You can subscribe here.
Everything looks lovely Mel, I love the dusky pinks. The floor in the last photo is the same as what we have in our new house. A beautiful collection but how could it not be when its inspired by 1920’s Paris! xx
Oh lucky you with that floor! Mel x
That wooden floor against the lilac is gorgeous.
The cushions are lovely, except for the ‘beige’ one. Ms Colourliving does not do beige:-))
Happuy new week to you Mel xx
Oh no you don’t! Have a great week also Tina xx
