I love online shopping. I’m not sure if it’s because I spend so much time online and it’s a natural extension from that, but it’s something that I’ve been hooked on from the beginning. I guess it also really started to take off at a very convenient time for me, when I started having children and I didn’t have that freedom to go out and hit the shops. A couple of weeks ago, I got the news that Indie Home Collective was about to open their online store so I waited in anticipation because I knew that the owner, Claudia Kozab would do a mighty fine job with it. She didn’t disappoint.
Claudia is a stylist by trade so opening Indie Home Collective in Newmarket a couple of years ago was a natural extension from the work that sees her continuous product sourcing for magazine shoots. She knew exactly what works. Claudia also puts it to great practice styling both Newmarket and now her online store. Each of the products can been viewed separately on the site, but she goes one step further, and includes it in a styled scene so that you can see exactly how to use her beautiful homeware and furniture edits in the everyday home. Looking at these images, it makes me want to buy everything!
Nothing beats a bricks and mortar store, to see it for yourself and feel the product in your hands, but I do find it incredibly frustrating to not have the option to browse or purchase online, because quite honestly, life just gets crazy and I rarely have the time to do that these days. Of course, another benefit of online is that the store is now open to everyone across the country and internationally.
Enjoy the images here but do make sure you pop over to the new site to take a look for yourself.

P.S. You can see the shop tour that I did of Indie Home Collective last year here.

It seems that I have followed your route, exactly: once the kids arrived in my life, out went the shopping ;-) Online shopping is my only way to go now – even for groceries. I can only admire the beauty and care of this online shop, truly unique!
Imagine life without online with children? Now when they’re at school/kindy, I’m so busy getting stuff done I don’t even have a chance to browse the real stores..
You can see there is a stylist behind, all images fit so nicely to your current vibe/new layout, Mel! The more you post the better it gets! G, xx
Thanks Gudy! x
A plant always livens everything up!
Online shopping is great. Of course nothing beats a shopping experience in a shop but I cannot imagine not being able to order stuff online.
Hope you are well x
I know, and there is something rather exciting about receiving a package in the mail xx
