Handmade. Ceramics. Planters. These three would have to be one of the biggest homeware movements going around at the moment wouldn’t you say? We can’t get enough; well I know I certainly can’t. I find myself constantly scouring the stores or online to find something beautiful and handmade that I can dream about adding to my collection. Today I’m shining the spotlight on some lovely ceramics that I’ve been admiring on Instagram made by Adelaide artist, Katia Carletti.
I was first drawn to her little footed planters a while back. Adorable aren’t they? I love the idea of having a collection like that all bunched up together with various greens, all in the same theme, yet each of them unique in form and design.
Another style that I can’t resist is the more earthy ceramics that have made an enormous comeback the past couple of years, thanks to the Kinfolk no doubt. But there really is something about having a cup of tea or coffee in a handmade cup, it plays on your senses and conjures up these lovely warm homey feelings. Katia has a beautiful collection of earthy ceramics; and I adore that tea pot!

Oh Mel, I am in love with these ceramics! I wish they were easier to find in Arizona! My absolute favorite of these is the tea kettle. Everything here is just gorgeous and thanks to you I know about it! YAY! Have a lovely day. Jocelyn xx
I know, I’m smitten! She does have a US stockist though – Fern and they can deliver… ;-) M xx
VERY LOVELY find! Beautiful… hoping she will find a stockists in London soon.
Maybe Katia can get in contact with Angela from Botany E5 shop.
Thank you for sharing xx
I can’t believe she hasn’t been snapped up more. I’m hoping someone will get her work in NZ too. She is stocked in Fern in the US, they’re pretty clever with their edit:) x
