Thank you to everyone that participated in the Styled Canvas Challenge Vintage Today theme for July and extending into August. I’ve loved looking at everyone’s little vintage treasures and how they are used in the modern world.
As promised, I’m sharing my favourite blog and Instagram entries.
First up is this gorgeous old Indian chest belongs to Kim from The Coastal Creative. I love how Kim arranged a vignette of driftwood in a vase beside shells, such a lovely mix. Kim is an Interior Designer here in New Zealand and began her interior blog back in March and it’s loaded with fantastic tips for the home.
Over on Instagram, Doris from Doris Lee Studio who is also an Interior Designer over in London, shared a bedroom scene with her vintage Kristjanas Williams lamp. I absolutely love the lamp and the fabric she used for the shade and that inviting bed, but I have to say that the balloon completed the scene here. Very cool shot!
A bit of love for Interior Designers this month but don’t let it sway you, no need to be a professional to get involved, this is all about having fun and challenging our skills.
Have you checked out the September Styled Canvas theme? I’d love you to join in. You can find all of the details over here.
Have a lovely Wednesday everyone!

Congratulations to both of the winning entrants. That top image is beautifully serene and I love that cabinet. It looks like it could tell a story or two.
Thanks Leanne! Yes I thought the same:) I love vintage Indian furniture, I dream of having an old door built into my house somewhere. xx
