“A new bohemia awaits. Mists of honeyed, golden mimosa float above the spiciness of freshly crushed cardamom. Warm, ethereal, mesmerising.” I have to say that after reading those words, I was already in love with Jo Malone’s latest scent, Mimosa & Cardamom before even opening the beautiful packaging.
In case you haven’t noticed, I’m a huge fan of Jo Malone London. Their product exudes luxury and I find that their fragrances are always ‘just’ and never sickly sweet. When I lit my first Jo Malone candle a couple of years ago, I turned into a habitual candle burner after hoarding pretty candles for years. They are after all, made for you to enjoy. I love to burn them while I work; I find it puts me in the right mood, it’s almost like a creative switch for me and long after the candle is snuffed, I adore how the delicate scent lingers in the home… Most of all, I have them burning in the bathroom to create a lovely ambience for when we have guests. I find that this is always a talking point, it never goes unnoticed.
This latest fragrance that was released this month worldwide, focuses on the key notes of Mimosa & Cardamom, hence the name, and is without a doubt my new all time favourite, and believe me the Peony & Blush Suede was a hard one to beat.
The timing couldn’t have been more perfect too with modern bohemian being right on trend in the fashion and interior world. Simply to me, it’s like they’ve bottled my memories of time spent in the Mediterranean and I’m enjoying being bathed in it from top to toe, to home.
Happy weekend everyone!
Mel xx

One of the girls read somewhere that there were changes made. But then I could do it again on yours and now I can’t again! I’m completely stumped as to why… x
