5 Stylish Easter Decorating Ideas

With less than two weeks until Easter, I thought it was about time that I add a little seasonal touch to the house. I won’t do a lot, just something simple to represent the holiday, and of course get the children a little excited about the impending Easter bunny visit, or the cloche… It gets a little confusing this time of year with our French/Australian traditions.

I’ve been searching the net for some ideas and thought you might like to get some yourself. First up is a stunning black white and gold Easter table by Trendser. You should check out the rest of the images with the white feathered Paskris as a centrepiece! I’d feel pretty proud throwing a dinner party with a tabletop like that.

These genius DIY indigo marbled eggs can be found over at Alice and Lois. Can you believe that they were made with blue nail polish and water? They’d look fabulous displayed in a gold bowel or glass vase. I’m very temped to try this very simple idea this year.

I’ve been watching Kretta from Gretchen Gretchen perfect the art of natural dye over the years. She has done a beautiful job dyeing these with red cabbage. So pretty! There really is something so special about natural dye techniques. Pop over for instructions of how to do this yourself.

I fell in love with the idea of a Paskris, (Swedish Easter tree) when I first discovered them a couple of years ago. It’s a lovely tradition where they celebrate the arrival of the light and their springtime after a long dark winter. They traditionally decorate twigs and trees with bright coloured feathers. Some of them can look wild and so fun. I’m drawn toward this lovely soft version by Baraetthem.

I made a few of my own versions of the Paskris last year, by far my favourite creation was the one that I made with quail eggs. I simply blew out the inners and tied the eggs (carefully) onto the branches with some thick gold string. Super easy to do and no need to do much else as the eggs have been decorated by mother nature.
