When you name your collection Bliss, you’re setting rather high standards for a product in terms of that ultimate feeling. But when you couple the dreamy designs of Emma Von Brömssen, with the fluid and tactile ceramics of Kajsa Cramer, the description couldn’t be more fitting.
The two artists met last year and immediately felt that their vision and craftsmanship was the perfect fit. They worked for a year to complete the handmade collection, comprising of cups and saucers made from the finest porcelain clay and 100% linen cushions.
I first heard about Bliss, The Collection, a couple of months ago on Instagram. On first look I had that wow moment and I put it on my list of artists in Sweden to feature here on Styled Canvas. Then summer came and went and I’m glad that I waited because I got to see the homeware collection in person last month at FORMEX. The Bliss stand was one of those that I lingered at the most, it had such a serine feeling and I couldn’t help but be drawn in with the need to touch it all. The designs entitled, Carp, Seaweed and Mackerel are as soothing as the ocean they are depicted from.
I just adore the moody images used in their catalogue don’t you? Photographer, Lotta Lundberg did a wonderful job capturing it all.
Keep an eye out for Bliss, The Collection that will be released at the end of this month. I have a feeling that it’s going to be very well received.
I’ll publish more of my finds from Stockholm’s FORMEX trade fair in the coming days.

wonderful pictures! I had the chance to meet them at Maison & Objet in Paris last Friday and I loved the connection between the Scandinavian minimalism and the Japanese theme. These pictures make their work even more beautiful ♡
What a beautiful collection! The artwork, texture and images are just magical! Thank you so much for sharing and can’t wait to see more from yr Formex adventure!
Happy Sunday dear Mel!
