The Whirlwind of Life

I’m taking a little holiday with my family. It’s time for us to stop and be there fully in the moment, we’re not going anywhere flash, just a lovely little bach not too far from home but will no doubt feel a million miles away. It’s so easy to get swept up with the whirlwind of life and it’s holidays that ground us.

This photo was taken of my boys almost a year ago in the beautiful Hawkes Bay region of New Zealand. I have such wonderful memories of this time together, not just because of the most incredible view we experienced and yes, cows in our garden, it was because we focused on one another and laughed a lot. I hope we experience something similar this time.

Not wanting to leave you without a little Wednesday read, I thought about asking one of my favourite bloggers, Catherine from Farmhouse Home to come and do a guest post, and to my delight she said yes!

Catherine has such a passion for food and shares wonderful recipes and stories with her readers, all beautifully styled and photographed. You’re in for a treat on Wednesday, I know what she’s cooking up for you and it looks simply divine and something that you can have fun with!

Enjoy!
