Dear friends,

Before I sign off for a couple of weeks, I wanted to thank you all so much for your support this past year. Thanks to all of the comments, the tweets, the retweets, the facebooking, instagraming, the pinning and most of all, for being here to read my little take on both the beautiful and the delicious. A special thank you to the lovely friends who took time out to be a guest in one of my regular features, My Space, On The Wall, 5 Decorating Questions and 5 Food Questions. You all rock and each of you are such a source of inspiration!

It’s been a wonderful year for my family and me. We feel more and more at home here in New Zealand and we look forward to discovering a little more of its treasures over the summer break. I’ll be back on Wednesday 8th January with a little holiday post. Until then, peace and love to you all and wishing you a wonderful Christmas and New Year celebration.

Enjoy!

P.S. The photo was taken on one of our favourite holidays in the Hawkes Bay region a couple of years ago. Still dreaming of that view!

P.P.S. Okay, so you’ll still catch me on Instagram during the break…

You too Amy! Thanks for all of your gorgeous style tips. I actually you should start a “dear Amy” column – I might shoot you a question! Hope you and your gorgeous family have a great Christmas. xx

Peace, love, Christmas and New Year Blessings to you all Mel. We’re going away a few times over this holidays so I’m going to have a break from blogging and social media for a while over summer. It’s great that you and family are settling into life in NZ, you will more and more as time goes by. I’ve been to the North Island a couple of times which I loved and think us Aussies should be flocking there in droves as it’s so close and has so much to offer as you’ve shown us on your blog. Thank you for all your wonderful posts this year and look forward to seeing what you have for us next year. Catherine xx

Thanks Catherine. Yes its a little pocket of gold here, so much to discover and the kiwi’s don’t tend to brag so a lot of it is secret! Can’t thank you enough for your support Catherine. Love reading Farmhouse Home and your mouth watering dishes. Merry Christmas to you all xx
