Let’s Shop
The Garden Edit
I had one of those moments the other day. You know the type, you pin something that takes you to an online store and you’re in awe of an impeccably curated shop, and I mean impeccably. Absolutely so much regard has gone into it. Nothing is mass produced, most of it one of a kind, and by reading about the owner, you get it and you realise that the store is a perfect representation of that person and their tastes. The Garden Edit, is that kind of store.
Dream Catchers by Luu Studio
I made a bit of a speedy visit the Auckland Fair on Sunday. We had two out of our three children with us, and because the youngest missed her midday nap; it was without a doubt a little challenging. The Cork Roundup
Wrong for Hay Lens Box Stackable cork
You may have noticed that we’ve being seeing cork a lot more in object design lately, especially with some of the main players. It has such a lovely smooth yet tactile feel with gorgeous muted colour tones that it’s really no wonder.
31 Chapel Lane | Irish Linen & Tweed
Irish linen has a long history and is renown for its quality and durability. It’s also something that most of us grew up with. Our parents and grandparents would always swear by that Irish linen tea towel that dries the dishes so well, quite often they would own only a couple of these tea towels and it would always be pulled out when the extended family came around for a Sunday roast. Fast-forward many (!) years into the 21st century and linen is being loved and appreciated around the world all over again, and it really has come of age.
Douglas & Bec – Bedroom
I’m not usually one for sets, I personally go for the mismatched look, but sometimes a design ties in so beautifully together that I question this idea of mine. Douglas and Bec have recently released a bedroom furniture range that is every bit elegant and seamless in its design and workmanship. Of course, each piece would also work beautifully solo.
