Susan Simonini Ceramics
Handmade ceramics is something that I, and it seems, most of the world just can’t get enough of. The latest line of work to catch my eye is that of Susan Simonini.
My Space | Jocelyn of The Inner Interior
Today my guest for the My Space series, is the very lovely Jocelyn Cassey. Jocelyn leads a very interesting life and is blessed to live between two cities that really couldn’t be more different from the other; Arizona, USA and Hamburg, Germany. Her blog, The Inner Interior, explores the art of designing and exploring the artful life and while Jocelyn is an Interior Designer by trade and you can go there for some great tips and advice, what I enjoy most of all is that she delves a little deeper. I have no doubt that like me, you’ll to be enriched by reading Jocelyn’s personal experiences and reflections on interior design and life. I’m so happy to have her here today, sharing her favourite space in her Arizona home with us.
My Home Featured on Design*Sponge
Did you see it? My little home here in Auckland was featured in Design*Sponge’s Sneak Peeks. If you didn’t see it already, I invite you to pop over for the full house tour.
Dinosaur Designs
If there is one Australian design company that has incredible staying power, then the crown should go to Dinosaur Designs. Not only are they still around after almost thirty years in business, they have remained true to their brand and are even more relevant today then they were when I first fell in love with their work.
Maricor Maricar | Wall Hangings & Embroidery
I first discovered MaricorMaricar on a visit home to Sydney last year. At the time the twin sisters, aka Maricor and Maricar Manalo were exhibiting some of their embroidered and geometric patchwork textiles at Koskela entitled, “Maps”. The exhibition was inspired by photos and drawings of their time living in London after winning a grant by the British Council.
Simple Style Notebook Interviews Me
It was such a pleasure to be interviewed by Amy from Simple Style Notebook about blogging, my online Great.ly store and what’s in store for the future.
Being interviewed alone is such a great honour, but for it to be in her Inspirational Women column is very humbling, so thank you so much Amy!
Dialog Collaboration by Backhouse
We love a good collaboration. It’s the word of the moment and for good reason. Two creative heads are better than one, but it’s actually seven are better on this occasion. A couple of years ago, Backhouse Interiors and Designworks had a conversation with five prominent New Zealand lighting and furniture designers, which resulted in the launch of “Dialog” last Friday.
I’m Two and I’m Celebrating with Two {Great.ly} Giveaways
Happy blog birthday to me, tomorrow Armoire, Pegs & Casserole turns… two!
