Urban Jungle Bloggers | Hanging Plants
The serendipity of life never ceases to amaze me. Even more so thanks to this wonderful World Wide Web that we so love to play on. For this Urban Jungle Bloggers, Hanging Plants edition, let me take you on a little story.
Instamoments #8 | The Vignette
Instagram is such a great expression for personal style. It also forces me to move things around a little and try new things out a little more than before. This is actually a good thing because it freshens things up in the house as I use it as my little playground for styling. I also find myself buying a lot more flowers these days with Instagram in mind.
Urban Jungle Bloggers | Plants & Coffee
Couleur café
Que j’aime ta couleur café
Coffee and plants. I’m not sure if Serge would agree with me, but it could be the new coffee and cigarettes non?
I couldn’t resist the latest Urban Jungle Bloggers challenge, especially seeing that I’m lucky enough that my husband works for Nespresso, and we live and breath coffee in our house.

Now that most of my Christmas presents are sorted and that the tree is finally going up this weekend, I’m looking at ways that I can decorate the tabletop on Christmas Day. If there’s any time of the year to try your hand at some simple DIY, it’s now. Here are my favourite four simple tabletop and centrepiece DIY ideas this year.
Urban Jungle Bloggers | Cosy & Green Bedroom
I always have some plants in the bedroom, but it’s usually on the table beside the window, where there’s light. It makes sense to have some plants close to where you sleep, they purify the air for one, and some how make us feel more at ease.
Urban Jungle Bloggers | My Plant Shelfie
This month our friends at Urban Jungle Bloggers HQ asked us to show us our “plant shefie”. So here is mine… a neglected plant brought back in from the garden, a thriving one relocated from the kitchen windowsill, and another that recently had their mother removed after it grew into a strange shape in search of the winter sun. After this exercise, I realise how nice it is to see a few plants in this part of the house, there’s certainly enough light for them here, so a couple will definitely be staying for a while.
Urban Jungle Bloggers – Back to School, Plants in the Workplace
I’m happy to be back to show some new additions to my plant family for the latest Urban Jungle Bloggers edition. The topic is “Back to School – plants in your workplace”. Well workplace for me isn’t quite defined. I have two places at home where I work from; a corner table in my bedroom when the household gets too rowdy, and the kitchen table. They say that many good businesses began at the kitchen table. I keep reminding myself of that as I dream very hard of having my very own studio.

7 Vignettes Instagram Challenge
In July last year I interviewed Jen Bishop for 5 Decorating Questions and since then I’ve been “meaning” to jump on board with the 7 Vignettes Challenge. This week I did it – finally!
