5 Food Questions with Nicola Galloway
Nicola Galloway is a trained chef, nutritionist, author of three cookbooks, and founder of the lovely food blog, Homegrown Kitchen. Her blog is jam packed with wholesome and seasonal recipes, with the ingredients quite often grown in her garden. The way Nicola embraces the best of the simple life, which was influenced by her upbringing, really makes me question the urbanite in me and suddenly I’m dreaming of my very own veggie patch, hens and fruit trees. She has also just released a 2015 seasonal recipe calendar, which I can’t wait to get my hands on! If you’re not yet a reader of Homegrown Kitchen, make sure you pop over to discover it for yourself and click on the motion video on her about page to get the perfect picture of what it’s all about. Today it is with great pleasure that I have Nicola as my guest, answering my 5 food questions.
On The Wall | Yvonne from Mouseblossom
What kind of interesting pieces of work do you get on the wall of a passionate illustrator? I was so curious to find this out, so I asked Yvonne de Jonge of Mouseblossom blog, to join us for this month’s “On The Wall” feature. As you’ll discover, she has an amazing collection and I was so happy to see that she included one of her illustrations to showcase here today. Yvonne is from the Netherlands and along with her blog, she has an Etsy store featuring her work which includes some very sweet porcelain brooches, so do take a look at that and pop over to her lovely blog to say hello.

My Space | Jocelyn of The Inner Interior
Today my guest for the My Space series, is the very lovely Jocelyn Cassey. Jocelyn leads a very interesting life and is blessed to live between two cities that really couldn’t be more different from the other; Arizona, USA and Hamburg, Germany. Her blog, The Inner Interior, explores the art of designing and exploring the artful life and while Jocelyn is an Interior Designer by trade and you can go there for some great tips and advice, what I enjoy most of all is that she delves a little deeper. I have no doubt that like me, you’ll to be enriched by reading Jocelyn’s personal experiences and reflections on interior design and life. I’m so happy to have her here today, sharing her favourite space in her Arizona home with us.
My Space | Corinne Kowal of Emerald Green Interiors
After a refreshing break from my everyday life and responsibilities, I can truly appreciate today’s My Space feature. Corinne Kowal is a colour consultant and authors the blog, Emerald Green Interiors. She has long tooted the benefit of colour in the home, long before the re-emergence of coloured walls and when it was all about “white”. I first admired her elegant decorating style after seeing a feature on her old apartment in Brussels by Holly Marder for Houzz. When she recently packed up her life and relocated to Madrid, I was so excited to see how she would decorate her new environment so after some months of settling in, I asked her if she would be my guest and share a special place in her new home with us. Well, it seems that she went beyond that actually created the space that she longed for! While I never intend to create too much work for my guests, I actually feel good about this one because everyone needs their own little sanctuary and I don’t know about you, but I’d love to curl up in this one right now.

On The Wall | Anu from Decor Dots
I met Anu online not long after starting AP&C close to two years ago, take aside that she’s such a lovely and warm person, she does a great edit of Nordic design which she shares on her beautiful blog Decordots. All of the seriously pinworthy images that she shares are found after her self confessed hours and hours of scanning through interior websites and magazines. Recently I noticed a lovely coloured wall in her home on her Instagram feed so I thought it might be fun if she wouldn’t mind sharing what she has hanging on it with us today. Please welcome Anu and all the way from Estonia!
