On The Wall | Anu from Decor Dots
I met Anu online not long after starting AP&C close to two years ago, take aside that she’s such a lovely and warm person, she does a great edit of Nordic design which she shares on her beautiful blog Decordots. All of the seriously pinworthy images that she shares are found after her self confessed hours and hours of scanning through interior websites and magazines. Recently I noticed a lovely coloured wall in her home on her Instagram feed so I thought it might be fun if she wouldn’t mind sharing what she has hanging on it with us today. Please welcome Anu and all the way from Estonia!
My Space | Judith de Graaff of Joelix
Judith is the author of Joelix, a lifestyle blog about design, travel and nature. While she was born in the Netherlands, she now resides just outside of Paris with her husband and three (very photogenic!) cats in a renovated industrial building from the 60’s called Studio Sapique.
An Artist & a Collector
I’m feeling rather honoured to be presenting this today. About a month ago, I was invited into the home of two very special guys here in Auckland; one is the collector, Cameron who happens to run the very popular Flotsam & Jetsam store in Ponsonby (I did a post about that here). The other is Gavin Hurley, a well-known New Zealand modern artist and whose works are represented here.
My Space: Lena from Mina Moka
Meet Lena, the author of Mina Moka, a blog dedicated to the beauty behind design – and beauty she truly shares. Lena is based in the very cool city of Berlin but is an international girl at heart and has spent many years living and traveling abroad. Her blog reflects her discoveries in her hometown and around the world, from contemporary, elegant design to the local artisan. It’s a beautiful eclectic mix that is always true to the roots of design aesthetic and as you can see, she takes stunning photographs. Along with her gorgeous blog, by day Lena works as a freelance screen writer and script consultant! I’m so pleased to have this multi-talented girl sharing a special place in her home for the “My Space” series.
NZ House & Garden Tour | Auckland
Photography: Jane Ushher courtesy of NZ House & Garden
I remember not long after moving to New Zealand, I drove through a lovely street in Epsom and saw droves of people parking cars and walking towards a grand looking home. Curious to know what was going on, I slowed down and saw a New Zealand House & Garden House Tour sign out the front. Last Friday and a couple of years later, I finally got to experience what all of that fuss was about.
My Space: Mette of Monsters Circus
If you love a bit of DIY then you’re going to love Mette from Monsters Circus! Since discovering her blog a little over six months ago, I’m in constant awe of the stunning and very simple DIY creations that Mette comes up with. They’re always in trend, usually with that pared back Danish look and all are esthetically beautiful images that are very pin worthy. Today, I’m so pleased to have Mette sharing her workspace with us for the My Space regular feature.
