Bang & Olufsen’s BeoPlay A9 – have you seen it? I have to say that I’m completely smitten, like – wow!
I’ve always been a fan of B & O and we are lucky enough to experience it at home. Years ago, I used to visit their store on Oxford Street Paddington, Sydney and dream of one day having my home completely wired with B & O and it wasn’t just for the acoustics (which I’m no expert on – at all), but also for the design. That’s what they’ve always excelled in, but this latest one is revolutionary – I guess it’s in their blood, they are Scandinavian after all.
The A9 sits on the floor like a beautiful piece of furniture with the circular speaker elegantly standing on a wooden tripod in a choice of beech, oak or teak. There’s also the option to wall mount the speaker, and like all of B & O’s systems, it connects wirelessly with your devices.
As far as looks are concerned, I would definitely choose the floor option, but it’s good to have the wall option there, especially with toddlers running around.
So what do you think of the design? See you Friday! Mel x
Hi Mel, yes gorgeous..B & O is top quality and beautifully designed, you couldn’t go wrong. Catherine x
Cheers Catherine!
Hi Mel,
Happy New Year. Yes, also a fan of B&O.
I still have their Ouverture stereo in my apartment. It’s always served me well.
Love those speakers. They certainly make a statement:)
Thanks so much Tina and happy new year also:)
Ohhh very cool! …perfect décor piece too! Their products are top notch in both quality (and price!)
Hi Anastasia, never got the house wired but it’s amazing the sound quality of the B&O “entryish” range – so I’m thinking I could settle for this which would be considerably cheaper than the big set up;) M x
Exquisite design – so very Scandinavian. Clever bunch, aren’t they?! Beautiful room styling. Love the pendant lights! x
Hey Michelle, they certainly are! I love the mix of old and new and yes the pendant lights are gorgeous:) Ahhh to save my pennies now! M x
