Lynda Evans | Est Magazine

Est Magazine would have to be one of my favourite reads, so it’s without saying that I’m absolutely honoured to have the Creative Director, Lynda Evans visiting today to answer my 5 Decorating Questions.

Lynda is one half of the talented Australian duo to create Est Magazine. For each issue, Lynda and Sian source the world for the creative talents of photographers, stylists, writers and trend spotters to create a free quarterly digital magazine that’s bursting with beautiful imagery and articles on design, interiors, lifestyle and fashion. It’s global living with an Australian twist.

If I need a place to go to for some inspiration, or just to just simply escape the madness, Est is that perfect destination. If you haven’t yet discovered this magazine, make sure you check it out; I promise you’ll be hooked. Oh and did I mention that it’s for free?

Over to you Lynda…

How would you best describe your style?

My style has been shaped by the places I’ve called home. It’s a mix of outback thrift, Scandinavian minimal and tropical retreat.

Do you have a particular designer that you admire most?

Right now I’m admiring rare interior projects by Italian designer Paola Navone. Her style ticks all my boxes.

White walls or coloured?

Without a doubt, white…. on white with the palest shade of grey.

What is your favourite decorative piece that you own and why?

A large mirror framed with salvaged timber from my childhood home. The stories it could tell!

Home….

Home is both my work space and my sanctuary. How lucky am I?

Thanks so much for stopping by Lynda, it’s been a pleasure!

Stay tuned in the coming weeks for when Sian, the Editor-In-Chief of Est Magazine will also answer my 5 Decorating Questions!
