Regular Features & More

A couple of weeks ago, my daughter and youngest child started going to day care one day a week with one of her brothers. For the first time in six years I now hove one whole day a week all to myself! Now while I might treat myself to the odd lunch, pedicure or facial on Tuesdays, what I’m really looking forward to doing is focusing on getting more original content on Armoire, Pegs and Casserole.  I’m going to go out and about and photograph and interview shops, creative people and the like.

I’ve also done a bit of planning and while I like the spontaneity of blog content and will continue to do that, I think it’s nice to have a bit of structure too, so I’ll now have Wednesday’s dedicated to my regular features. Two of them you know, possibly three but the fourth is brand spanking new!

This is what you can expect:

5 Decorating Questions

I’ve really enjoyed bringing this to you and I’ve had a great response to this feature where I ask five quick questions about decoration to people in the home décor and styling world. You can see previous 5 Decorating Questions here.

My Space

This feature has also been very well received. Here I have bloggers and creatives sharing their favourite little place in their home. It could be the kitchen table, a reading nook, their desk or the fire mantle. I love getting a little peek into their home and I know you do too. Click here for previous My Space features.

5 Food Questions

I’ve featured this once last year and have decided to make it a regular. Here I’ll have foodies from all areas answering my 5 quick food questions. Let’s call it the sister feature to 5 Decorating Questions. I’ve got a great one coming up this Wednesday that I’m excited about so stay tuned! You can see the previous 5 Food Questions here.

On The Wall

This is my brand spanking new feature that was a suggestion to me by a lovely blogger friend so of course she will be kicking this one off Wednesday week! In this feature, bloggers and creatives will share an image or two of what’s on their wall. It could be a gorgeous painting, posters, photos, hats – whatever; it just needs to be decorating their wall. I’m calling this the sister feature to My Space.

So what else have I got planned?

Home tours, shop tours, creative workspaces and product spotlights. I also would love to hear from you about what you’d love to see here. Perhaps you know or have a product or business that you think is in a similar style of this blog that you think should be featured? Or a super cool home? Shoot me an email; I’m always happy to hear from you.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Have a great day and see you Wednesday with my 5 Food Questions…

Thanks Caroline and for you being the first to show your gorgeous space. And no – not a spare minute, the trick will be to ignore everything else that needs to be done around the house. Love your portfolio site btw. x
