I’ve always been a fan of plants inside the home, so I’m really enjoying seeing how this current and continuing indoor plant trend is nurturing the creation of some seriously interesting planter and display designs.
Recently I discovered some exquisite ceramic wall planters by Light + Ladder, out of New York. I love the simplistic look of the leather and rope against the white ceramic and the air plant holders would make a great statement, enabling you to design your own pattern on the wall.
Light + Ladder was created by Farrah Sit, with the idea to have local artists in the Brooklyn area collaborate and create beautiful home accessories from local products. Anything born from the collaboration of artists with the idea of sourcing locally just sits so perfectly in my mind. The range doesn’t stop with planters, so I urge you to look around the site to admire some great artisan work.
The good news for those of us outside of the States is that they ship internationally.

Love them! Gorgeous!! hx
One of each, please. I am already having some hanging plants and always hope they survive my many travels:-) and white containers are always me favorites! What makes those special is the leather combo! xx
Oh yes, the tan leather against the white is lovely. I wonder how you manage? Indoor plants can be tricky to begin with depending on light of course. I guess succulents would be your friend! M x
These are so beautiful Mel. Lovely to hear local artisans collaborating to make these unique accessories. You have now inspired me to have more greenery indoors. x
Oh I’m glad Geraldine. xx
Those are so pretty. They would be great for herbs in the kitchen too.
Oh they sure would, great idea! M x
