How was your weekend? I hope it was how it should be this time of year, crazy busy but fun! Today is a pretty special day for me because I’m celebrating my 13-year wedding anniversary with Guillaume. We haven’t got anything planned immediately as it kind of crept up on us this year but we do have one bottle of fine French champagne chilling in the fridge.
Perhaps early next year we’ll organise a night getaway, just the two of us while Guillaume’s mum is here from France. We might even go on an elegant picnic at the beach somewhere, oh it’s been so long since I’ve had a grown up picnic. They now tend to be about kids crawling over me, getting sand or dirt in the food and wiping sticky fingers. I won’t complain as I love those sticky little fingers, but certainly not what I have in mind for an anniversary.
We could certainly have a picnic in style with this Menu Multi-Basket by Norm. In true Norm Architect style, this is no ordinary basket and as the name suggests, it’s multi-purposed not to mention one beautiful piece of design.
A hybrid between tray and basket, the handle slides down into lock position to act as a tray and keep all of your bits and bobs tidy on the bench (needing this desperately!) or it could be used as a basket to cart your things around or for that picnic. The fitted containers have small cooling elements to keep food chilled and the airtight bamboo lids can be used as a breadboard.
Before I sign off, a little reminder about a giveaway I have going where you could win 2 packs of 10 cute polaroid-style prints from your smartphone by Printic. Perfect to capture your silly season photos and share. Click here to be in the draw.
