Rooms To Love by LeeAnn Yare and Larnie Nicolson | Published by Penguin Books NZ
It’s no secret here that admiring beautiful interiors is a favourite pastime of mine, so I was pretty excited to receive an advance copy earlier this week, of LeeAnn Yare and Larnie Nicolson’s second book, Rooms To Love.
What struck me about this particular publication, was that this was not just a gorgeous book of hundreds inspiring interiors that the two have visited over the years, but also a practical one, with valuable tips of how to pull these individual looks together, and most of all, to be true to who you are.
Rooms To Love begins with the grand entrance, which in my experience is quite often the forgotten area of a home, or one that is often over looked. LeeAnn likens this area to that of putting on your best dress, as it’s the visitor’s first glimpse of the interior within. This sets the tone for the entire book, an eclectic mix of different interior styles broken into different areas in the home, that embraces the stories of each of the owners and not just the latest trend.
This well thought out and visually beautiful book is a winner for any coffee table and most certainly for anybody who might need that extra bit of confidence to embrace his or her own personal style.
I’m also thrilled that a few images of my old home made the cut and is featured throughout the book, I’m truly honoured to be in such great company.
Rooms To Love, style inspiration for every home, is published by Penguin and is available in most major bookstores and online from today.
Mel xx
