Hay Copenhague Desk

Copenhague Desk

It’s been a while since I’ve had a good look at the Hay office supplies. They’ve stepped up their accessories an extra notch again, from an already impressive range. What I love about the Hay collection, is that not only do they look super cool and would make any desk quite enviable, each item is actually very practical.

I had to start with their desk, because while a lot of us would love to have a huge one to work on, it’s not always possible because of our lack of space. For me, having a family of five in a three bedroom house means that I’m using living space to work in. I usually divide my time between the kitchen table when everyone is out, and then hide away in my bedroom when they’re home and I need to get stuff done. It’s not ideal and I’ve been working on getting this alcove in the entry sorted as a dedicated space, hence the hunt for gorgeous accessories. I imagine that a lot of you might be in a similar situation. So without the luxury of having an entire room to yourself dedicated to a workspace, this small and beautifully designed Copenhague Desk would look unobtrusive and stylish placed in a multipurpose room.

From there, it’s about accessorising it well. That’s where the rest of the collection comes in. Hay has pretty much every conceivable desk accessory available to style your workspace. Pens are a lot prettier when they’re a feather, rulers bright and colourful and organisation a lot easier with the Letterbox system. They even have tissue boxes sorted. Nothing needs to be hidden away here. While I personally wouldn’t have everything from the collection together, because I like to bring in my own trinkets and personality, I would pick any of these shown here to complement my set up.

Do you have any favourites here? There’s also a lot more to the collection, from wrapping paper to cute tape dispensers, so do pop over to the Hay website to have a look. Readers in NZ and Australia will find the extensive range of Hay products at Corporate Culture.

There’s a big concession within Selfridges.

I hope you had a wonderful Easter and may I say that your egg decorations looked gorgeous. I hope your kids had lots of fun and lots of Easter eggs. Sending hugs xx

Yes they’ve certainly done a good job at the appeal. I think with their furniture, it’s affordable when you’re looking from quality design end. As for stationery – so much gorgeous stuff. I did look recently at the German store you blogged about last year I think and it doesn’t seem to be open anymore which is sad:(
