Bloom Social

This Wednesday, a sweet smelling service is launching in Auckland. It’s called Bloom Social and I’m certain it will be a hit. Do you know those business concepts that turn up and fill a gap in the market? Bloom Social is that. I haven’t heard nor seen anything like it before now and I think it’s brilliant.

This is how it works. Three days a week Bloom Social will upload an image of the new look “blooms of the day” which will be available to order until 1pm or until sold out. They’ll then be delivered to you personally by the owners, Melanie and Daryl Holt, that afternoon or early evening, all for a very reasonable $45. They also offer a subscription service, which is perfect for businesses, or if you just want to treat yourself or someone special to a surprise each week. I’m excited already!

Bloom Social is a family business, run from Melanie and Daryl’s home garage so that they can closely raise their little girl, Sienna (and teach her a thing or two about floral arrangements I suspect). You may have already heard of Melanie, who is behind the event styling company, All The Frills. If you’ve seen images of her work before, you can be certain that these blooms are going to be of exquisite taste. Adding to the service soon will be potted botanicals.
