This month’s Urban Jungle Bloggers theme is Botanical Zoom. Yes Igor and Judith asked us to get up close so that we could enjoy all of the wonderful shapes and design of our plants.
I really have no words for this. Sometimes it’s better to just to stop and enjoy the lovely details of nature’s art. Here you’ll see the veins of the Fiddle Leaf Fig, the spindled Rhipsalis, also known as the mistletoe cactus and the swirls of the Calathea Orbifolia.
Happy weekend everyone!

Dear Mel, you have taken wonderful Pictures! I like the plant of the third Photo! What is the name? Sincerely Kathrin (sorry for my badly english)
Hi Kathrin, thank you so much! His name is “Rhipsalis”, also known as the “mistletoe cactus”. He’s my latest green friend and very easy, requires very little water:)
Oh yes, lovely. Say no more ;) Have a good (rest of the) weekend! xx
Beautiful! All our plants deserve to shine and show off their details…
Hope all is well.
Have a great Easter xx
Botanical beauty at its best! Isn’t it amazing how wonderful the close-ups look? I adore the Calathea with her striped foliage. So beautiful!
