It feels good to be joining in on the Urban Jungle Bloggers fun again. With everything going on with the rebranding, school holidays and family visits, I simply couldn’t squeeze another thing on to the agenda. I was this close to doing last topic, even had the best idea… but no, I couldn’t. Then I saw this month’s theme, “Plant Gang” and well, I had to because, I do have a bit of a collection happening.
I kept it all in my head for a couple of weeks, group the plants, I’ve got loads – easy. My back deck is covered, they’re scattered around my home… Then the day came to bring them all together and I realised that so many of them are looking awfully neglected at the moment. If you could see my back deck and the container garden that once looked like this… Well to give you an idea, when Mum was here and she suggested that I give some water to the plants outside. I was getting so defensive that I had to show her that post to let her know that I can have a healthy looking deck garden. So for the moment, only my closest family members and friends are allowed to see what that deck looks like now. Shame is the word.
Today’s gang is kind of a mini plant gang, best friends lets say. They made the cut because, they’re not too heavy (I did try to move a few big ones), and they are the only ones in my home that an urban jungle blogger would be proud to show today.
I also get to introduce the latest addition to the family – our little terrarium, the planter box, all the way from Denmark!
Have a great weekend everyone.
