Geraldine writes Little Big Bell, a lovely design and lifestyle blog out of London. She uses the blog as a creative outlet and way to unwind after her very long days as a medical physician in a hospital ER department. I really enjoy reading Geraldine’s true passion for design and interiors when she reports about her discoveries of England’s emerging design talent and it’s soon to extend over the Atlantic… Some very exciting news for Geraldine is that she’s been invited by Modenus to take part in the Los Angeles BlogTour in October! Thank you so much for sharing with us what’s on your wall Geraldine, I just love how you’ve played with the garlands and gorgeous prints.
These pictures are in a naturally lit alcove adjacent to ceiling windows. I call it my canvas of inspiration, a mood board with an ever changing display of prints. It sits at the transition point of my home where Victorian period features meet modern design architecture. The current collection reflects my journey in design blogging. The largest print is by Camilla Engman with the caption ‘Save a tree for me’, bought around the time I discovered and became an avid follower of blogs. The smaller prints are Marimekko postcards and reflect my love for design with a Scandinavian twist. The dog print of Betty is by Lisa Bengtsson. I love it for its humour and how it perfectly fits into the monochromic black and white decor of my son’s room. This display defines my design aesthetic and colour as I have increasingly become aware plays a major part.
