How was your weekend? I hope it was how it should be this time of year, crazy busy but fun! Today is a pretty special day for me because I’m celebrating my 13-year wedding anniversary with Guillaume. We haven’t got anything planned immediately as it kind of crept up on us this year but we do have one bottle of fine French champagne chilling in the fridge.

Koromiko International Handmand

I’m always on the hunt for handmade products with a bit of edge so you could imagine my delight when I stumbled upon the very cool Koromiko online store. Koromiko was founded by Tracey George, a New Zealander based in The States – I know, I know, these clever Kiwis. Tracey curates a beautiful range of international handmade products with the eye for beautiful design. Behind the store is Koromiko’s promise to support independent designers that make goods in small batch runs and who are sustainable in their practices.

She told me that she wanted to offer something unique and special to the market so spent quite some time searching to find the perfect fit to her brand. I’m glad she did!

You may recall that I was planning a New Zealand month in December where each and every post in that month would be dedicated to the wonderful talent we have here in New Zealand. Well, unfortunately I’ve been a bit under the weather for a few weeks and have had to do the bare minimum so I simply wouldn’t have been able go out and put the energy into this project as I would like to. New Zealand Month is on hold until early next year however I thought I’d put together a little Christmas gift guide of things I love that are made by clever Kiwis.

Hi everyone, it’s so good to be back after a few days off.  While I was having a little break I get the email about Gorman’s new Home Time homeware range. Once I took a look at it, I wanted to write a post about it immediately as I’ve been waiting for this since writing about the Gorman homeware collaboration with Ellie Malin here.
