FORMEX AW17 | Stelton, The Stockholm Collection
I have a huge admiration for the Danish design company, Stelton, so I was quite curious to see what new product releases they would have at the AW17 FORMEX. Without a doubt, the hero story was around the STOCKHOLM collection.

Six Things on my List from IKEA & HAY’s YPPERLIG collection
By now I think that you’d be well aware of IKEA’S collaboration with HAY entitled, YPPERLIG. It will hit the stores in three weeks and I have to say that I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much excitement around about a product launch before. Have you? Each time I, or others have put something on social media about it, people comment that they are desperately waiting for it to arrive. There’s this sense of fear that they are going to miss out; that they are going to arrive in store only to find that what’s on their list, is already sold out. Some are even suggesting that they will camp out the night before! What? Well, it certainly is an exciting partnership of creative forces.

Formex AW17 | Bliss, The Collection
When you name your collection Bliss, you’re setting rather high standards for a product in terms of that ultimate feeling. But when you couple the dreamy designs of Emma Von Brömssen, with the fluid and tactile ceramics of Kajsa Cramer, the description couldn’t be more fitting.
Timeless Scandinavian Design | Skagerak
Leading on from last week’s post about buying for a purpose and with a conscience, over the coming months I will feature some beautifully made and timeless Scandinavian design, a lot of it I had the pleasure of viewing at the Stockholm Furniture Fair. I will kick it off with Skagerak, a Danish company that has been designing furniture for over forty years and over this time, accumulating many industry awards. Putting their history and accolades aside, true to a lot of Scandinavian style, their products are all about form and function, with of course, great design. Skagerak’s motto is “design for generations” meaning that not only do they create beautiful product, they also take quality and sustainability very seriously.
Key Trends Spotted at Formex Stockholm
On Wednesday I visited Formex Stockholm to check out the latest in the Nordic interior trend world. I’m sure you don’t doubt me when I say it was an interior lover’s paradise. I’m also pretty sure that many of you would be interested in a little peek of some of the key trends spotted. Am I right? Okay, let’s go.
WON Design
Today I’m excited to be sharing a new Danish design brand, WON. If you’re a lover of beautiful clean Scandinavian lines that not only look stunning but are also functional, you won’t be disappointed.
Styled Canvas Favourites | Ildhane by Nedre Foss
Meet Ildhane, an eccentric bird candleholder and stunning debut design by Nedre Foss, a studio formed by Anderssen & Voll and definitely a Styled Canvas Favourite.
I’ve long admired the work of these two Norweigen designers, Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll, and previously featured a collaboration of their work for the Food Work Project on the blog. The two are most known for their designs for brands like Wrong for Hay, Muuto, Magis, Erik Jørgensen, Kvadrat and Foscarini. Now they’ve branched out and formed Nedre Foss and I’m excited to see what they will come up with next.

Grow Mini Greenhouse
There have been some really lovely mini greenhouses that needn’t be hidden away of late and one particular one that has come out on top for me is the Grow Mini Greenhouse by Caroline Wetterling for Design House Stockholm.
