My Stockholm Apartment Workspace
Hello everyone! I hope you’re all set for a great weekend. While today is really overcast here, it looks like we’re in for some beautiful Autumn weather over the next couple of days. One thing about living in Sweden is that you get to experience all of the seasons and each of them has something special to offer and to look forward to. Thinking about our lovely walks in the crisp air when we first arrived here, I realised that we landed in Stockholm a year ago yesterday. Can you believe it? Time has flown by so quickly. We actually flew out to Cyprus the very next day, so officially we’ve been living here a year next Thursday. I also realised the other day that I haven’t shown you much of our Stockholm apartment, so I thought today I’ll share some photos of my little workspace with you. Fancy a peek?
My Home | Workspace
My workspace would have to be one of my favourite places in our home. I guess I put it down to it being my very own space, although I do have to fight for it sometimes. It’s in a thorough fare and the children (and husband) tend to put their their belongings on it as they pass by.
Win a Toodles Noodles Organisation Pack
I’ve had this giveaway in the books for a while now. I was planning on shooting all of the images when I returned from Sydney and, we all know what happened then – I moved five days after arriving back. So, the lovely Liora who is bringing you the opportunity to win a Toodles Noodles Organisation Pack has been so patient! In the end I think it’s meant to be because it probably pushed me to get my workspace finished so that I can show you how I use this product in my everyday life. Keep reading to see how you (worldwide) can enter…
The Styled Office with Hay Accessories
It’s been a while since I’ve had a good look at the Hay office supplies. They’ve stepped up their accessories an extra notch again, from an already impressive range. What I love about the Hay collection, is that not only do they look super cool and would make any desk quite enviable, each item is actually very practical.
I had to start with their desk, because while a lot of us would love to have a huge one to work on, it’s not always possible because of our lack of space. For me, having a family of five in a three bedroom house means that I’m using living space to work in. I usually divide my time between the kitchen table when everyone is out, and then hide away in my bedroom when they’re home and I need to get stuff done. It’s not ideal and I’ve been working on getting this alcove in the entry sorted as a dedicated space, hence the hunt for gorgeous accessories. I imagine that a lot of you might be in a similar situation. So without the luxury of having an entire room to yourself dedicated to a workspace, this small and beautifully designed Copenhague Desk would look unobtrusive and stylish placed in a multipurpose room.
My Space: Mette of Monsters Circus
If you love a bit of DIY then you’re going to love Mette from Monsters Circus! Since discovering her blog a little over six months ago, I’m in constant awe of the stunning and very simple DIY creations that Mette comes up with. They’re always in trend, usually with that pared back Danish look and all are esthetically beautiful images that are very pin worthy. Today, I’m so pleased to have Mette sharing her workspace with us for the My Space regular feature.
